Horse
Horse is a passive mob in Minecraft that can be tamed and ridden when equipped with a saddle. It is a fast and efficient means of transportation, capable of moving faster and jumping higher than a player. Horses drop 0–2 leather upon death, which can be increased with the Looting enchantment. Horses can be bred using golden apples or golden carrots. To breed horses, two tamed horses must be fed one of these items, after which they enter love mode and produce a foal. Baby horses take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but this time can be reduced by feeding them sugar, wheat, apples, golden apples, golden carrots, or hay bales.
Horses must be tamed before they can be ridden or bred. To tame a horse, the player must mount it repeatedly until hearts appear, indicating that the horse has accepted the rider. Once tamed, a saddle can be equipped to control movement. Tamed horses also have an armor slot, allowing them to be equipped with leather, iron, gold, or diamond horse armor for additional protection. Horses spawn naturally in plains and savannas, often in herds. When ridden, horses can move faster and jump higher than a normal player, with some able to clear up to five blocks in height. They can also be leashed using a lead and tied to fences for convenience.
