Mooshroom

Mooshroom is a passive mob found exclusively in Mushroom Fields biomes. It is a rare variant of the cow with red or brown mushrooms growing on its body. Mooshrooms drop 1–3 raw beef (or cooked beef if killed with fire) and 0–2 leather when killed. They also drop 1–3 experience upon death. If sheared, they drop 5 mushrooms (red or brown depending on their color) and transform into a regular cow.

Mooshrooms can be bred using wheat. When two adult mooshrooms are fed wheat, they enter "love mode" and produce a baby mooshroom. Baby mooshrooms take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but this time can be reduced by feeding them more wheat.

Mooshrooms produce milk when right-clicked with an empty bucket, just like cows. When right-clicked with a bowl, they instead produce mushroom stew. If struck by lightning, a red mooshroom will transform into a brown mooshroom, and vice versa. Cows wander randomly, often in groups, and can swim in water. Their ability to provide mushroom stew makes them a highly valuable food source for players who settle in Mushroom Fields.
