Pig
Pig is a passive mob in Minecraft commonly found in plains, forests, and savannas. It is a farm animal that roams freely and does not attack the player. Pigs drop 1–3 raw porkchop (or cooked porkchop if killed with fire) when killed. They also drop 1–3 experience upon death. Pigs can be bred using carrots, potatoes, or beetroot. When two adult pigs are fed one of these food items, they enter "love mode" and produce a baby piglet. Baby pigs take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but this time can be reduced by feeding them more carrots, potatoes, or beetroot.
Pigs can be ridden when equipped with a saddle. When a player rides a pig and holds a carrot on a stick, the pig will move in the direction the player is facing. If the pig falls from a great height while being ridden, it will take fall damage and eventually die if the drop is too high. Pigs wander randomly, often in groups, and can swim in water. Their ability to be ridden makes them unique among farm animals, though they are primarily used as a food source due to their porkchop drops.
