Gilded Blackstone

Gilded Blackstone is a variant of blackstone found exclusively in bastion remnants. When mined, it has a chance to drop either itself or gold nuggets. It requires a pickaxe to be mined; otherwise, it drops nothing. If mined without Silk Touch, it has a 10% chance to drop 2–5 gold nuggets instead of itself. The Fortune enchantment increases the chance of dropping gold nuggets but does not increase the amount dropped.

Gilded blackstone generates naturally in bastion remnants, replacing some blackstone in the structure and sometimes appearing beneath bastion remnant chests. It can also be found in loot chests within bastions.

Gilded blackstone is a purely decorative block with no additional functional uses. However, piglins are attracted to it and will inspect it if dropped on the ground. Piglins also become hostile when a player mines gilded blackstone.
