Glass Pane

Glass Pane is a transparent block that functions as a thinner alternative to glass. It is crafted using glass blocks and can also be dyed into stained glass panes. Glass panes can only be collected if broken with a Silk Touch-enchanted tool; otherwise, they shatter and drop nothing. They are more resource-efficient than glass blocks, as six glass blocks yield sixteen glass panes. When placed, they connect to adjacent blocks and form thin vertical sheets.

Glass panes can be used as windows in structures and can also be utilized in cartography tables to lock maps, preventing further exploration updates. Additionally, they serve as a crafting ingredient for stained glass panes.
