Polished Andesite

Polished Andesite is the refined version of andesite, used primarily for decoration. It can be crafted by combining andesite or obtained via stonecutting, and naturally appears in specific structures like igloo basements and woodland mansion rooms.

It shares the same blast resistance as stone, making it a durable substitute in building projects. Additionally, polished andesite can be traded with journeyman masons and further crafted into slabs, stairs, and walls. Placing it under a note block produces a 'bass drum' sound.
