Red Sandstone

Red Sandstone is a variant of sandstone, crafted from red sand. It generates naturally at noise cave entrances in badlands biomes and as part of floating village platforms in badlands. Unlike regular sand, red sandstone is unaffected by gravity and will not fall when placed.

It has a hardness of 0.8, making it relatively easy to break. Red sandstone can be crafted into cut red sandstone, as well as slabs, stairs, and walls. It can also be obtained through stonecutting. The block has no functional uses beyond decoration and can be placed under note blocks to produce a bass drum sound.
