Red Sand

Red Sand is a gravity-affected block found exclusively in badlands biomes. It functions similarly to regular sand but has a distinct reddish hue. It can be used to craft red sandstone, TNT, and glass when smelted. Unlike sand, it does not generate in deep layers supported by sandstone.

Red sand is essential for cactus farming and can also support bamboo, sugar cane, and kelp. It is renewable through wandering trader trades. When unsupported, it falls like other gravity blocks, making it useful for traps and construction mechanics. When placed under a note block, it produces a 'snare drum' sound.
