Waxed Copper Door

Waxed Copper Door is a copper door variant that has been treated with honeycomb to prevent oxidation. Like other copper doors, it can be opened and closed manually without requiring redstone. It is craftable by combining a copper door with honeycomb and does not oxidize over time. Waxed copper doors can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes are the fastest. Unlike iron doors, they can be opened by players, villagers, piglins, wandering traders, and vindicators.

Since it does not oxidize, the waxed copper door retains its original copper appearance indefinitely. In Hard difficulty, zombies and vindicators can break waxed copper doors, making them less secure. However, they can still be controlled with redstone power. Additionally, waxed copper doors can be used as air pockets underwater and in lava since they do not burn.
