Waxed Exposed Copper Door

Waxed Exposed Copper Door is a copper door variant that has been treated with honeycomb to preserve its exposed oxidation stage. Like other copper doors, it can be opened and closed manually without requiring redstone. It is craftable by combining an exposed copper door with honeycomb and does not oxidize further. Waxed exposed copper doors can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes are the fastest. Unlike iron doors, they can be opened by players, villagers, piglins, wandering traders, and vindicators.

Since it is waxed, the waxed exposed copper door retains its slightly weathered appearance indefinitely without progressing to further oxidation stages. In Hard difficulty, zombies and vindicators can break waxed exposed copper doors, making them less secure. However, they can still be controlled with redstone power. Additionally, waxed exposed copper doors can be used as air pockets underwater and in lava since they do not burn.
