Exposed Copper Door

Exposed Copper Door is a copper door variant that has begun to oxidize, taking on a slightly greenish tint. Like other copper doors, it can be opened and closed manually without requiring redstone. It is craftable from exposed copper and generates naturally in trial chambers. Exposed copper doors can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes are the fastest. Unlike iron doors, they can be opened by players, villagers, piglins, wandering traders, and vindicators.

Exposed copper doors will continue to oxidize over time unless they are scraped with an axe or struck by lightning, which removes oxidation. They can also be waxed with honeycomb to stop oxidation from progressing. In Hard difficulty, zombies and vindicators can break exposed copper doors, making them less secure. However, they can still be controlled with redstone power. Additionally, exposed copper doors can be used as air pockets underwater and in lava since they do not burn.
