Cauldron
The Cauldron is a utility block used to hold water, lava, powder snow, and potions. It is crafted using 7 Iron Ingots in a 3×3 crafting grid and generates naturally in village tannery houses, witch huts, and some woodland mansions. A Cauldron can store up to three levels of water, which can be used to fill bottles for brewing, dye leather armor, and remove dyes from colored items. In Bedrock Edition, a Cauldron can also hold potions, allowing players to fill bottles with stored potion effects.
A Cauldron can be used to collect rainwater, automatically refilling over time when exposed to rain. It also interacts with Dripstone, allowing pointed dripstone to fill it with water or lava if placed below a block containing either liquid. A Cauldron can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest. Unlike a Brewing Stand, a Cauldron does not brew potions but is useful for storing liquids, dyeing armor, and interacting with Redstone contraptions.
