Sunflower

Sunflower is a tall flower that generates exclusively in Sunflower Plains and can be used to craft yellow dye. Sunflowers can be mined instantly with any tool and drop themselves when broken. They generate naturally on grass and dirt blocks in their unique biome. Unlike other flowers, sunflowers always face east, making them useful for navigation, even in the Nether and the End.

Applying bone meal to a sunflower causes it to drop a copy of itself, allowing easy duplication. However, sunflowers cannot be placed in flower pots.

Sunflowers can be used to breed, grow, and lead bees. They also contribute to honey production when bees pollinate them. Additionally, oak, birch, and cherry trees grown near Sunflowers have a 5% chance to spawn with a bee nest containing bees. Sunflowers can be composted with a 65% chance to increase the compost level. They are sometimes sold by wandering traders for one emerald.
