Twisting Vines

Twisting Vines are upward-growing vegetation found in the Nether's Warped Forest biome. They can be climbed, harvested, and used for composting but do not generate in the Overworld naturally.

Twisting Vines grow on the ground and Huge Warped Fungi in Warped Forests. They have a 10% chance to extend upward with each random tick and stop growing when they reach a ceiling or an age value of 25. Bone meal can be used to instantly grow them, and it occasionally creates them when applied to Warped Nylium.

Twisting Vines can be collected instantly with any tool, but shears or a Silk Touch tool guarantee a drop. Without these, they have a 33% drop chance, increasing to 100% with Fortune III. The best way to harvest them is from the top to prevent unwanted breaking.

Twisting Vines can be climbed by holding the jump key or moving forward when backed by a solid block. They can also prevent fall damage when placed at the landing spot. Additionally, they can be composted with a 50% chance to increase the compost level, making them moderately effective for composting.
