Fire Coral

Fire Coral

Fire Coral is a block in Minecraft. It can be mined and collected.

Fire Coral is a vibrant coral variant found in warm ocean biomes as part of coral reefs. It is one of five coral types, alongside Tube, Brain, Bubble, and Horn Coral. Fire Coral can be broken instantly, but it can only be obtained by mining it with a Silk Touch tool. Without Silk Touch, it drops nothing. Using bone meal on dirt, sand, gravel, clay, or coarse dirt in a warm ocean biome can generate coral in place of some seagrass.

To stay alive, Fire Coral must be waterlogged or surrounded by water. If placed outside of water, it will die and transform into Dead Fire Coral within seconds, and this process cannot be reversed. Like all coral types, Fire Coral can be placed under a Note Block to produce a bass drum sound. It is mainly used for decoration and aquatic builds.
