Horn Coral Block
Horn Coral Block is a block in Minecraft. It can be mined and collected.
Horn Coral Block is a bright yellow coral block found in warm ocean coral reefs, known for its vibrant color and use in decorative underwater builds and sea pickle farms. It’s one of five coral block types, alongside tube, brain, bubble, and fire coral blocks.
Horn coral blocks can only be obtained in Survival mode using a pickaxe enchanted with Silk Touch. Breaking one without Silk Touch causes it to drop a dead Horn Coral Block, which is gray and cannot be revived. Wandering traders may also sell horn coral blocks for 3 emeralds each.
To stay alive, a Horn Coral Block must be adjacent to water or a waterlogged block. If it isn’t, it begins to dry out and transforms into its dead form after a few seconds. Once dead, the block’s color is lost permanently.
Horn coral blocks can support sea pickle farming, as bone mealing sea pickles on top of a live coral block can generate additional pickles nearby. They also produce a “bass drum” sound when placed under a note block, adding functionality to redstone music creations.
