Camel

Camel

The Camel is a passive mob found in desert villages. It can be saddled and ridden by up to two players at once, making it the only ridable mob that allows for shared transportation. Due to its tall stature, Camel protects its riders from most melee-attacking hostile mobs, as they cannot reach players seated on Camel. Camel does not drop any items when killed.

Camel can be bred using cactus. Feeding two adult Camel cactus puts them into love mode, after which they produce a baby Camel. The parents cannot breed again for five minutes. Baby Camel take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but their growth time can be sped up by feeding them cactus.

Camel naturally spawns tamed and can always be ridden without requiring taming. Camel has a unique dash ability, allowing it to quickly cover short distances by leaping forward. This makes Camel useful for navigating desert terrain and avoiding obstacles. Sitting Camel do not follow the player, making them temporarily stationary. While riding Camel, the player in the back seat cannot attack the driver or Camel itself, making it ideal for cooperative gameplay. Camel can also be attached to a lead, allowing players to transport them easily.
