Chicken
The Chicken is a passive mob in Minecraft commonly found in plains, forests, jungles, and villages. Chicken drops 1 raw chicken (or cooked chicken if killed with fire) and 0–2 feathers when killed. It also drops 1–3 experience upon death.
Chicken can be bred using seeds (wheat, beetroot, melon, or pumpkin seeds). When two adult Chicken are fed seeds, they enter "love mode" and produce a baby chick. Baby Chicken take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but this time can be reduced by feeding them more seeds. Chicken passively produces eggs every 5–10 minutes, which can be collected and used for crafting, baking, or hatching new Chicken by throwing them.
