Endermite is a small hostile mob that occasionally spawns when a player throws an ender pearl. It is one of the few mobs that naturally despawns, disappearing after two minutes. Endermen are hostile toward Endermite, making it useful for enderman farms.

Endermite has a 5% chance to spawn when an ender pearl lands. It cannot be bred and does not spawn naturally in any biome. It drops no items but grants 3 experience when killed by a player.

Endermite attacks players on sight, dealing melee damage despite its small size. Its erratic movement makes it difficult to hit, and when multiple spawn, they can overwhelm players in enclosed spaces. Endermen actively hunt and kill Endermite, making it one of the few mobs that provoke an automatic response from endermen.
