Cake

Cake is a unique food item that can be placed as a block and eaten slice by slice. It restores a total of 14 hunger points when fully consumed, with each of its seven slices restoring two hunger points. Unlike most food items, cake cannot be eaten directly from the inventory and must be placed on a solid surface before being consumed.

Cake is crafted using three buckets of milk, three wheat, two sugar, and one egg, making it a resource-intensive food item. It can also be obtained through trading with journeyman-level farmer villagers. The milk buckets used in crafting are returned to the player, allowing for reuse.

While not the most practical food source due to its crafting cost, cake is often used as a decorative food, in celebrations, or as an infinite-access food source in certain builds where multiple players can share it.
