Brown Egg

Brown Egg is a throwable item dropped by warm chickens, and functions identically to regular and blue eggs. It can be used in crafting recipes, as a projectile, or for spawning chicks, specifically the warm variant.Like other eggs, a brown egg can be thrown by hand or from a dispenser, dealing knockback to mobs but no damage. When thrown, it has a 12.5% chance to spawn a warm chick, and a 1 in 256 chance to spawn four warm chicks at once. These probabilities make eggs useful for automated chicken farms.

Brown eggs are used in crafting recipes like cake and pumpkin pie, where any egg variant is accepted. Chickens lay them approximately every 5–10 minutes, and they are immune to fire in item form. Brown eggs also support farming and breeding strategies specific to their chicken type.
