Raw Beef

Raw beef is a food item obtained by killing a cow or mooshroom without using a weapon enchanted with Fire Aspect. It restores three hunger points when eaten raw, but it is more effective when cooked.

Raw beef can be cooked in a furnace, smoker, or campfire to produce steak, which restores more hunger and provides better saturation. It can also be used to breed and heal wolves without any negative effects.

As cows are common in most biomes, raw beef is an easily accessible early-game food source. It is also frequently collected alongside leather, making cow farms valuable for both food and crafting materials.
