Soul Speed is a treasure enchantment for boots that dramatically increases movement speed on soul sand and soul soil blocks. This rare enchantment cannot be obtained through traditional enchanting tables, making it highly sought after by Minecraft players exploring the Nether.

Soul Speed comes in three levels, providing speed increases of 40.5%, 51%, and 61.5% respectively when walking on compatible blocks. The enchantment generates distinctive soul particles while active and works equally well on both soul sand and soul soil surfaces.

Players can acquire Soul Speed through piglin bartering, bastion remnant chests, or by defeating piglins wearing enchanted golden boots. The enchantment's durability cost is 4% per compatible block stepped on, but this can be reduced significantly with Unbreaking enchantments, making it essential for long-distance Nether travel.
