Golden Chestplate

A golden chestplate is a chest armor piece crafted from gold ingots, offering the same protection as an iron chestplate but with significantly lower durability. Despite its weakness, it has the highest enchantability of all chestplates, making it useful for obtaining powerful enchantments.

Golden chestplates can be found in bastion remnants, looted from ruined portals, or obtained as drops from mobs such as zombies and skeletons wearing them. They can be enchanted with Protection, Unbreaking, and other armor enchantments to improve their effectiveness.

Wearing any piece of golden armor, including a golden chestplate, prevents piglins from attacking the player on sight in the Nether. While not ideal for long-term protection due to its low durability, it is useful for short-term defense and enchanting experiments.
