Gold Ingot

Gold ingots are a valuable metal resource obtained by smelting raw gold in a furnace or blast furnace, crafting nine gold nuggets, or looting chests in structures such as bastion remnants, ruined portals, and shipwrecks. They can also be acquired by killing piglin brutes or bartering with piglins in the Nether.

Gold ingots are primarily used to craft golden tools, weapons, and armor, though these have low durability. They are also essential for making golden apples, golden carrots, glistering melon slices, powered rails, and clocks. Additionally, they are required to craft netherite ingots by combining them with netherite scraps.
