Raw Chicken

Raw chicken is a food item obtained by killing a chicken without using a tool enchanted with Fire Aspect. It can be eaten raw to restore two hunger points, but there is a 30% chance of receiving the Hunger effect for 30 seconds when consumed.

Raw chicken is primarily used for cooking into cooked chicken by using a furnace, smoker, or campfire, which provides better hunger restoration and removes the risk of food poisoning. It can also be used to breed wolves, as they accept it as food without any negative effects.

Raw chicken can be obtained from naturally spawning chickens, as well as from killing foxes holding chicken in their mouths. It is a common early-game food source but is best consumed when cooked to avoid potential hunger effects.
