Bamboo Raft with Chest

Bamboo Raft with Chest is a utility variant of the bamboo raft that combines the mobility of a boat with the storage capacity of a single chest. Crafted by combining a bamboo raft and a chest, it allows players to transport items across water efficiently, especially in early exploration or resource runs.

Unlike regular boats, which can carry two entities, the raft with chest sacrifices one passenger slot for item storage, holding 27 inventory slots—the same as a single chest. Players can access the chest by sneaking and interacting, or through their inventory screen while riding. Items can also be transferred via hoppers, allowing for automated loading and unloading setups.

Functionally, it behaves like any other boat: it floats, moves on water, negates fall damage, and can be broken to retrieve both the raft and stored items. It burns in furnaces for 60 seconds (smelting up to 6 items) and will anger piglins if opened or broken in their presence. With its distinct bamboo appearance, it's a fitting companion for jungle journeys and mobile storage solutions.
