Disc fragments are obtained by looting ancient city chests in the Deep Dark biome. They are primarily used to craft Music Disc 5, requiring nine disc fragments to create a complete disc.

Unlike other music discs, disc fragments hint at the mystery and lore of ancient cities, making them a unique collectible for players exploring the Deep Dark.
