Silverfish

Silverfish is a small hostile mob that infests stone and deepslate blocks in mountains, strongholds, igloo basements, and woodland mansions. It emerges when infested blocks are broken and attacks by crawling toward its target to bite them. Silverfish are notably found in strongholds, making them a common hazard near End Portals.

Silverfish do not drop any items when killed but provide 5 experience if defeated by a player.

Silverfish cannot be bred and spawn naturally from infested blocks. These blocks generate underground in mountains and windswept hills biomes, inside strongholds, in igloo basements, and within the false portal rooms of woodland mansions.

Silverfish are hostile mobs that attack players on sight. When a silverfish is attacked, it summons nearby silverfish, causing them to emerge from infested blocks and swarm the player. This hive-like behavior makes them dangerous when encountered in strongholds and other enclosed areas. Silverfish are weak individually but can quickly become overwhelming if not dealt with swiftly. They avoid lava but take damage from water, making fire-based attacks and area damage effective against them.
