Witch
Witch is a hostile mob that uses potions in combat, throwing splash potions for offense and drinking defensive potions to heal itself. Witches are commonly found in swamp huts but can also spawn naturally in dark areas or when a villager is struck by lightning.
Witches drop 4–8 redstone dust and have a 1/7 chance to drop 0–2 glowstone dust, sugar, spider eyes, glass bottles, gunpowder, or sticks. If killed by a player, they drop 5 experience.
Witches cannot be bred and do not spawn baby variants. They naturally generate inside swamp huts but can also spawn randomly in dark areas. If a villager is struck by lightning, it will permanently transform into a witch, making witches the only hostile mob that can be created from a passive one.
Witches are hostile mobs that throw harmful splash potions at their targets, including Potions of Harming, Poison, Slowness, and Weakness. If attacked, they drink Potions of Healing, Fire Resistance, and Water Breathing to protect themselves. Unlike most hostile mobs, witches do not burn in daylight, making them dangerous even during the day. Their ability to heal quickly makes them harder to kill than most other enemies, requiring fast attacks or ranged weapons to defeat them efficiently.
