Mason

The Mason is a villager profession in Minecraft that specializes in trading stone-related blocks and decorative building materials. It uses the Stonecutter as its job site block, which allows unemployed villagers to take on the profession when placed nearby.

Trades include bricks, terracotta, quartz, and various types of stone, making them a valuable source for builders. At higher levels, they offer polished stone variants and quartz pillars, as well as colored terracotta, which can be used for decoration.

They progress through five levels—Novice, Apprentice, Journeyman, Expert, and Master—unlocking better trades as they gain experience. They can be leveled up by trading emeralds, clay balls, stone, and granite.

Masons can be zombified and cured to reduce trade costs, making them useful in trading halls. They spawn naturally in villages but can also be assigned the profession by placing a Stonecutter near an unemployed villager.
