Diorite

Diorite is an igneous rock block found in large underground pockets. It can be mined with any pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. It can also be crafted from cobblestone and nether quartz.

Diorite is primarily used for building and crafting. It can be crafted into polished Diorite, slabs, stairs, and walls. Journeyman-level masons may trade emeralds for Diorite. Placing it under a note block creates a 'bass drum' sound.
