Nether Quartz Ore

Nether Quartz Ore is an ore found exclusively in the Nether and is the primary source of nether quartz. It must be mined with a pickaxe; otherwise, it drops nothing. Without Silk Touch, it drops 1 nether quartz, with Fortune increasing the yield. Breaking it grants 2–5 experience points.

Nether Quartz Ore generates commonly in all Nether biomes, appearing in large blobs. When smelted, it produces nether quartz. Placing it under a note block creates a 'bass drum' sound.
