Netherrack
Netherrack is a soft, easily breakable stone block found throughout the Nether and in ruined portal structures.
Netherrack is one of the most abundant blocks in the Nether, generating in large quantities as the primary terrain block. It can be obtained by mining with any pickaxe; if mined without one, it drops nothing. It is also dropped when mining Crimson Nylium or Warped Nylium without a Silk Touch pickaxe.
Netherrack is primarily used as a building material and can be smelted into Nether Bricks. When set on fire, flames burn indefinitely unless extinguished manually, making it useful for long-lasting light sources or traps. Applying bone meal to Netherrack next to Nylium transforms it into more Nylium. When placed under a note block, Netherrack produces a 'bass drum' sound.
