Lime Wool Slab

Lime Wool Slab is a decorative building block crafted from wool, giving builders a slab-height option that matches the rest of the wool family, and it can be re-dyed into any other color with a dye. It is made by placing three matching wool blocks in the bottom row of a crafting table, which yields six slabs at once.

Like other wool blocks, Lime Wool Slab can be broken with any tool, though shears clear it the fastest of anything on hand. It has a hardness of 0.8 and is a renewable resource. Its blast resistance sits at 0.16 in Bedrock Edition, well below the 0.8 rating it carries in Java Edition, so it offers little protection against explosions either way.

Lime Wool Slab is waterloggable and catches fire readily from nearby flames or lava, since wool burns easily. A double layer of Lime Wool Slab blocks light completely, while a single slab only partially blocks it, depending on the edition. Placed beneath a note block, Lime Wool Slab makes it play a guitar note in Java Edition, though Bedrock Edition currently uses its default harp sound instead. It also dampens vibrations once placed, keeping nearby sculk sensors and shriekers from detecting footsteps or item drops on top of it.
