Lily of the Valley

Lily of the Valley is a flower found in forests, flower forests, birch forests, and dark forests and can be used to craft white dye. Lilies of the Valley can be mined instantly with any tool and drop themselves when broken. They generate naturally on grass and dirt blocks and appear in flower forests as part of the flower gradient system.

In Java Edition, applying bone meal to a grass block in a flower forest has a chance to generate Lilies of the Valley. In Bedrock Edition, bone meal can also be applied to a lily of the valley to spread more nearby.

Lilies of the Valley can be used to craft Suspicious Stew, which grants a Poison effect when consumed. They can also be placed in flower pots for decoration. Bees pollinate Lilies of the Valley, increasing the honey level in beehives and nests. Additionally, oak, birch, and cherry trees grown near Lilies of the Valley have a 5% chance to spawn with a bee nest containing bees. Lilies of the Valley can be composted with a 65% chance to increase the compost level. They are sometimes sold by wandering traders for one emerald.
