Brown Mushroom

Brown mushrooms are a plant item that naturally generates in dark areas, such as forests, caves, swamps, and the Nether. They can be harvested by breaking them or by using bone meal on a mushroom block to grow a giant brown mushroom, which drops multiple mushrooms when broken.

Brown mushrooms are primarily used to craft mushroom stew, rabbit stew, and suspicious stew, providing a renewable food source. They are also used as a key ingredient in brewing Fermented Spider Eye, which is essential for crafting negative-effect potions such as Weakness, Poison, and Slowness.

Due to their ability to grow in low light levels, brown mushrooms can be farmed underground or in shaded areas, making them a useful survival resource for food, potion brewing, and decoration.
