Crafter
The Crafter is a Redstone component that automates crafting by assembling items when powered. It is commonly used in automated production systems, resource processing, and Redstone contraptions. A Crafter is crafted using 5 Iron Ingots, 1 Crafting Table, 2 Redstone Dust, and 1 Dropper in a 3×3 crafting grid. It does not generate naturally and must be crafted by the player.
When placed, a Crafter has a 3×3 crafting grid, similar to a Crafting Table. Items must be inserted into the grid to define a recipe. When the Crafter receives a Redstone pulse, it consumes the required materials and outputs the crafted item from its front face, similar to a Dropper. A Crafter can interact with Hoppers and other item transport systems. Hoppers can input materials into the Crafter's grid, while crafted items are ejected into containers or other Redstone systems, allowing for automated crafting setups.
A Crafter requires a Redstone signal to operate, with each pulse triggering one crafting action. This makes it useful for precise crafting automation in farms, storage systems, and Redstone factories. A Crafter can be mined with any tool, but pickaxes break it the fastest. Unlike a Crafting Table, it does not allow manual crafting but is essential for automating resource production.
