Chainmail Chestplate

A chainmail chestplate is a chest armor piece that provides more protection than a leather tunic but less than an iron chestplate. It cannot be crafted and is primarily obtained through villager trading, looting structures, or as a rare drop from zombies and skeletons wearing chainmail armor.

Chainmail chestplates can be enchanted with Protection, Unbreaking, and other armor enchantments to improve their durability and effectiveness. They can also be repaired using iron ingots in an anvil, making them somewhat sustainable despite their rarity.

Although chainmail armor offers moderate protection, it is mainly collected for its unique appearance, as it is one of the few armor sets that cannot be crafted by players.
