Rooted Dirt
Rooted Dirt is a block in Minecraft. It can be mined and collected.
Rooted Dirt is a decorative dirt variant that naturally generates beneath Azalea Trees.
Rooted Dirt can be obtained by mining it with any tool, though a shovel is the most efficient. It generates in a 5×5 cross-section under Azalea Trees, replacing dirt, coarse dirt, mud, clay, or moss blocks until reaching a Lush Caves biome. It can also be obtained through Wandering Traders, who sell 2 Rooted Dirt for 1 Emerald. Unlike regular Dirt, Grass and Mycelium cannot spread onto Rooted Dirt. Using a shovel on it creates a Dirt Path, while using a hoe converts it into Dirt and drops Hanging Roots. Additionally, applying a water bottle to Rooted Dirt transforms it into Mud.
