Lush Caves
Lush Caves is a biome in Minecraft. Mobs that spawn here include Creeper, Slime, Spider, Zombie, and Skeleton.

Lush Caves is a temperate underground cave biome that generates beneath surface biomes with high humidity levels, typically 0.7 or above. It appears most frequently below dark forests, jungles, old growth taigas, wooded badlands, and taigas. Players can locate a Lush Caves from the surface by spotting azalea trees, whose roots of rooted dirt and hanging roots extend downward until they reach the cave chamber below.
The interior of Lush Caves is richly decorated with moss blocks, moss carpets, short and tall grass, and azalea bushes blanketing the ground. Cave vines bearing glow berries hang from the ceiling, casting a soft ambient glow throughout the space. Spore blossoms drift decorative particles into the air, while shallow clay-lined pools form across the mossy floor, filled with small dripleaf and big dripleaf plants growing from the water.
Several mobs make their home in Lush Caves that cannot be found elsewhere underground. Axolotls and tropical fish inhabit the cave pools, and glow squids drift through the water. Common hostile mobs such as zombies, skeletons, creepers, spiders, and bats also spawn here. The widespread glow berries, however, keep much of the biome lit above light level zero, limiting some hostile spawning.
In Bedrock Edition, Lush Caves is internally classified as an arid biome with no rainfall and dry grass coloring, though this difference is rarely visible underground. Patches of stone and ore-bearing rock are visible between the vegetation, making the biome a practical location for gathering both decorative and mineral resources.
