Wind Burst is a rare mace-exclusive enchantment in Minecraft that launches players upward after executing smash attacks, enabling continuous aerial combat chains. This powerful enchantment provides approximately 8, 16, or 24 blocks of upward knockback at levels I, II, and III respectively, making it essential for advanced mace combat techniques.

Players can only obtain Wind Burst from ominous vaults in trial chambers as enchanted books, with a 5.5% drop chance making it one of the rarest enchantments available. Unlike other mace enchantments, Wind Burst cannot be acquired through enchanting tables or villager trading, requiring exploration of trial chambers for acquisition.

Wind Burst activates exclusively during smash attacks performed after falling more than 1.5 blocks, allowing skilled players to chain multiple aerial strikes without touching the ground. The enchantment interacts with redstone mechanisms like levers and doors, and can even be activated by foxes wielding enchanted maces. Blast Protection reduces Wind Burst's effectiveness, providing counterplay options in PvP scenarios.
