Elytra

Elytra is a rare wing-like item that allows players to glide through the air when equipped in the chestplate slot. It can only be found inside End Cities, specifically in End Ships, making it a valuable late-game item for fast travel and exploration.

To use Elytra, players must jump from a height and press the jump button while falling to start gliding. Elytra can be boosted using firework rockets, allowing for long-distance flight without losing altitude. Over time, Elytra loses durability and must be repaired with phantom membranes in an anvil or enchanted with Mending to restore durability with experience points.

Due to its ability to provide fast aerial movement, Elytra is an essential item for endgame exploration, allowing players to travel large distances, avoid fall damage, and navigate difficult terrain efficiently.
