It marks the location of the nearest desert village, guiding the player there with a marker that updates as they travel. The map is bought from an apprentice-level cartographer for 8 emeralds and a compass; like other explorer maps it cannot be crafted. Once obtained it functions as a locator map, revealing terrain as the player explores toward the marked structure.
