Blaze
Blaze is a hostile mob in Minecraft. Blaze has 20 health points (10 hearts). Blaze deals 6 attack damage.
Blaze is a hostile mob found in Nether fortresses and is the only source of Blaze rods, which are essential for brewing potions and crafting Eyes of Ender. Blazes are capable of floating in the air and shooting fireballs at their targets, making them one of the more challenging Nether mobs to fight.
Blazes drop 0–1 Blaze rods upon death, which can be increased with the Looting enchantment. If killed by a player, they drop 10 experience. Blazes cannot be bred and only spawn naturally inside Nether fortresses. They frequently appear near Blaze spawners, making these structures key locations for farming Blaze rods.
Blazes are hostile mobs and attack by shooting fireballs in volleys of three. Their projectiles ignite targets, causing fire damage on impact. In close-range combat, they also attack by spinning their rods, dealing melee damage. Blazes float above the ground and can move through lava without taking damage. They take damage from water and snowballs, making these useful weapons against them. Blazes are highly aggressive and are often encountered in groups, making them dangerous in enclosed areas of a Nether fortress.
