Shulker

Shulker is a box-shaped hostile mob found in end cities. It hides in its shell to protect itself and blend in with purpur blocks, making it harder to spot. Shulkers attack by shooting homing projectiles that inflict the Levitation effect, causing players to float upward uncontrollably. They are the only source of Shulker shells, which are used to craft Shulker boxes, making them highly valuable.

Shulkers drop Shulker shells upon death, which can be increased with the Looting enchantment. If killed by a player, they drop 5 experience.

. If a Shulker is hit by another Shulker's projectile, there is a chance that a new Shulker will spawn nearby, making them one of the few mobs capable of multiplying under specific conditions.

Shulkers are hostile mobs that remain stationary, hiding in their shells when closed. When open, they fire tracking projectiles that follow their target and apply Levitation for 10 seconds upon impact. This makes them particularly dangerous in tall end cities, as players can float high into the air and take fall damage when the effect ends. Shulkers are immune to arrows when closed and can teleport to nearby locations if they are attacked. They do not naturally despawn, making them a permanent challenge inside end cities.
