Wolf
Wolf is a neutral mob that can be tamed using bones. Once tamed, wolves become loyal companions that defend their owners from attackers and assist in combat. Wild wolves spawn naturally in forests, taigas, and snowy taigas, typically on grass, dirt, coarse dirt, or snow. Wolves do not drop any items when killed. A wolf can be tamed by feeding it bones. Each bone has a random chance of successfully taming the wolf, after which it will wear a collar and follow the player. The collar color can be changed using dyes.
Tamed wolves can be bred using any type of meat, including raw beef, raw cod, rabbit stew, rotten flesh, and raw chicken, without causing the hunger status effect. When two tamed wolves are fed meat, they enter love mode and produce a baby wolf. Wolves have a 5-minute cooldown before they can breed again. Baby wolves take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but feeding them meat speeds up the process.
Tamed wolves can be equipped with wolf armor, which increases their defensive capabilities. They can also be leashed using a lead, allowing players to transport them easily. Wolves attack hostile mobs that damage their owner, making them useful in combat. Wild wolves are neutral, meaning they only attack players if provoked. When injured, a tamed wolf's tail lowers, and it can be healed with meat to restore its health.
