Camel
Camel is a passive mob found in desert villages. It can be saddled and ridden by up to two players at once, making it the only ridable mob that allows for shared transportation. Due to its tall stature, camels protect their riders from most melee-attacking hostile mobs, as they cannot reach players seated on a camel. Camels do not drop any items when killed.
Camels can be bred using cactus. Feeding two adult camels cactus puts them into love mode, after which they produce a baby camel. The parents cannot breed again for five minutes. Baby camels take 20 minutes to grow into adults, but their growth time can be sped up by feeding them cactus.
Camels naturally spawn tamed and can always be ridden without requiring taming. They have a unique dash ability, allowing them to quickly cover short distances by leaping forward. This makes them useful for navigating desert terrain and avoiding obstacles. Sitting camels do not follow the player, making them temporarily stationary. While riding a camel, the player in the back seat cannot attack the driver or the camel itself, making it ideal for cooperative gameplay. Camels can also be attached to a lead, allowing players to transport them easily.
