Where do Groves generate?
Groves generate on the Overworld surface on the lower slopes of mountains, sitting between the warm lowlands and the bare snowy peaks above. They are blanketed in snow with spruce trees throughout, and were added in the 1.18 Caves and Cliffs update alongside the other mountain biomes.
How do I find a Grove on my seed?
Enter your seed and the map highlights every Grove - click any highlighted patch to read its coordinates. Travel there for spruce wood and snow, but pack leather boots, because powder snow hides among the snow layers and will drop you through if you step in unprepared.
What makes a Grove worth visiting?
Groves are one of the few biomes with naturally generating powder snow, which you can scoop up with a bucket for storage rooms or fall-damage tricks. As a mountain biome they also generate emerald ore underground, while foxes, rabbits and wolves roam the snowy surface.
