Slime
Slime is a hostile mob in Minecraft. Slime has 16 health points (8 hearts). Slime deals 4 attack damage.
Slime is a bouncy, cube-shaped hostile mob that spawns in specific chunks deep underground or on the surface in swamp biomes. Slimes appear in three different sizes, with larger slimes splitting into smaller ones upon death. They attack by jumping toward their target, dealing damage on impact.
Slimes drop 0–2 slimeballs when small slimes are killed, which can be increased with the Looting enchantment. If killed by a player, only the smallest Slime variant drops experience. Larger slimes split into smaller slimes when defeated, with large slimes splitting into medium ones, and medium ones splitting into small slimes.
Slimes are hostile mobs and jump toward their targets to attack. The larger the Slime, the higher the damage it deals. However, only the smallest slimes are harmless and do not attack players. Slimes are immune to fall damage and move unpredictably, making them harder to avoid in enclosed spaces. Slime farms are commonly built in Slime chunks or swamps to efficiently collect slimeballs for crafting items like sticky pistons and leads.
